Surrender: The Relationship Between Oneself and God

Surrender is the act of the ego letting go so the soul can lead and direct one’s steps on their spiritual journey to be one’s highest and best version of oneself. Surrender is a process that takes time over the course of a lifetime and is the old self making room for the new self to emerge. The process can start anywhere in a person’s life or timeline and depending on their life’s distractions and or devotion to truth can determine when this is likely to begin and occur. The ego is a determining factor in the process. When it has no more to teach or learn from as far as lessons from the past are concerned it begins to breakdown and fragment and change one’s perception through transformation to perspective. The areas where the ego leaves the soul’s light and awareness begin to shine outward like a caterpillar breaking out of its cocoon. This can be an illuminating experience and time in one’s life as well as bring great joy to one’s life as well. Surrender is a choice as far as growth is concerned. It happens gradually over time unlike awakening and embodiment which can happen more rapidly. The ego when ready will not resist like it does when confronted with truth. Instead, it chooses to be transformed into the new creation of one’s spirit only this spirit is loving based in love not selfish and fear based like its predecessor. Surrender is both static and active as an act of faith. It is a thought and feeling a release and an act of faith surrendering to the transformation process to become something new. The soul will eventually have to surrender at some point in its journey back to God in obedience to one day receive its calling or its purpose. This purpose is based in the original thought God created from the need generated in His heart and mind listening to His people on earth. Surrender for the soul is surrendering to God’s spirit so God’s spirit can become the lifeforms presence as part of its purpose or calling. This will involve a process as well to complete and may or may not require divine intervention to accomplish. Either way the process leads to deepening faith awareness and expands to include more of God’s gifts and attributes in the lifeform to equip them for their purpose or calling. The choice to surrender is a choice to evolve and continue one’s direction toward God and one’s destiny. Willingness and faith are all that are required and God does the rest with the soul in agreement with God. God will manifest in the lifeforms life at this point and God will now be experienced not only inside oneself but outside as well. God calls souls for their purpose on earth to show and display His might and mighty works to glorify Himself by demonstrating how it is supposed to be with those who are willing and faithful. Each step in this process of surrender from ego to soul and soul to God’s spirit leads the lifeform to be who they really are and are created to be based in love and truth.
